• 3. Description:
• A. Product Benefits:
• Green Ice Zinc EDTA 12% is a 100% water-soluble micronutrient essential for plant
growth.
• It supports seed production, plant maturity, and the functioning of various enzyme
systems, auxin synthesis, and protein synthesis.
• It is free from harmful elements like chloride and sodium.
• It helps in correcting zinc deficiency and preventing Khaira disease.
• Enhances the activity of enzymes involved in carbohydrate, protein, and DNA
synthesis.
• Improves fruit setting, flower development, and overall crop yield and quality.
• Promotes chlorophyll production, leading to greener and healthier leaves.
• Increases photosynthesis efficiency and energy production in plants.
• Improves soil fertility by balancing zinc levels.
• Enhances plant immunity and resistance to pests and diseases.
• B. Usage:
• Suitable for foliar spray and can be mixed with other phosphatic fertilizers.
• Effectively absorbed by crops due to its chelated and stable form.
• C. Recommended Crops:
• All Crops
• D. Dosage:
• 1 gram per liter of water
• 15 grams per 15-liter spray tank
• 150 grams per acre for foliar spray
• 250 grams per acre through drip irrigation or trenching
Green Ice Recommendation :
1. Suitable for use in cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables, and oilseeds.
2. Apply directly to the soil or as a foliar spray, depending on the crop’s requirements.
3. Best applied during the early stages of crop growth or when signs of zinc deficiency appear, such as stunted growth, chlorosis, or poor fruit set.
Benefits of using Green Ice :
- Green Ice being in the chelated form ensures complete availability of Zinc to the plant without fixation in the soil.
- Green Ice also improves the efficiency of NPK applied.
- Green Ice is easily absorbed by the plants in all weather conditions & soils
- Green Ice is 100% completely soluble in water.
Green Ice SCOPE :
Agricultural Crops: Extensively used in cereals, vegetables, pulses, and fruits to address zinc deficiencies.
Horticulture: Beneficial for fruit trees, ornamental plants, and vegetables grown in zinc-deficient soils.
Soil Health Management: Integral to nutrient management practices, especially in soils known for micronutrient imbalances.
Greenhouse Farming: Ideal for enhancing crop growth in controlled environments where micronutrient deficiencies may occur.
Sustainable Farming: Supports sustainable agriculture by promoting balanced plant nutrition for long-term soil health.
Dosage & Method of Application:
Foliar Spray: Dissolve 100 grams (about 3.53 oz) of Green Ice in 150-200 liter's (about twice the volume of a mini fridge) of water and spray over one acre of standing crop on both sides of leaves. The dose may be increased, or application repeated depending upon the severity of Zinc deficiency and nature of the crop.
As Soil Application: Mix Green Ice @ 500g (about 1.1 lb)/ Acre with 10 kg soil and apply uniformly on one acre during initial growth stages.
As Fertigation: Apply Green Ice @ 500 g (about 1.1 lb) / Acre through Drip Irrigation can be mixed with any WSF for its application.
Frequency of Application: 2-3 applications depending on appearance of deficiency symptoms.
